This is part of the Bumbles cafe building on the Pine Ave side of the cafe! You can hire a Stand Up Board or Kayak from our SUP nook or perhaps book a SUP or Kayak tour or paddle group.
Launch from the shoreline in front of Bumbles Café. Experienced Paddlers will be free to navigate around Chevron Island and Macintosh Island Park.

The Spit, Main Beach
Launching from the southern part of the park paddling south into the Broadwater (note: This area is limited for the more experienced paddle boarders & bookings for this location must be made in advance).
*Bookings are Essential
Our Surf School location is at “The Spit”, under the Kiosk. Lessons are held at the user friendly beach at the north end, in between the sand pumping jetty and the Seaway. Free parking is available at “The Kiosk” car park. Participants must check in at the office 15 minutes prior to lesson start time.
We also sell sunscreen, sunglass straps, water and other merchandise. Drop in and see why paddlers flock to Budds Beach, our hidden gem in the heart of Surfers Paradise…. The Best Stand Up Paddle location!
